Описание: NEWS: Here is the full police interrogation and confession of Rodgers — 22 years old at the time and on the autism spectrum — for killing his adoptive parents, Dave Rogers, 69, and Merrill Gleddie Rogers, 63, on Nov. 29, 2016, at the family's home on Apeldoorn Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada’s capital. PLEASE NOTE: This interview is an official court exhibit as shown to the jury in Ontario Superior Court at the trial of Cameron Rogers and formally released by Superior Court Justice Kevin Phillips.
Rogers fled to Montreal with a plan to cross into the United States, but failed to get across the border. He then called 911 and told Montreal police what he had done. He was arrested and held in custody until Ottawa police detectives arrived to interview him the following day. On Dec. 19, 2018, after a first mistrial, Rogers pleaded guilty to second-degree slaying of his parents. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with no chance of parole for at least 20 years.
