DANGEROUS DRIVING - MURREE (PUNJAB) TO MUZAFFARABAD AZAD JAMMU & KASHMIR (AJK), PAKISTAN.

Описание: This stretch of the road is very scenic with lots of big tall trees, springs, creeks, waterfalls & Neelum river valley along the way. The route follows the Neelum river after coming down from Murree mountains . The ditches along the way especially on Murree Mountains are hundreds of meters deep with sharp jagged rocks & boulders littering the ditch wall & the bottom. At a few spots there are big waterfalls & there are Gondolas that take you there, people can get underneath the waterfall to enjoy a natural mineral water shower to cool off from the scorching heat of the day & its very healthy. You will see people sitting with their legs dipped into the water runoff. There are several springs, creeks & waterfalls that gets drained into the Neelum river. The sounds of these water runoffs create a soothing ASMR. While driving we crossed 2 provinces namely Punjab & KPK before entering Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).
@7:22 You'll get to see a restaurant named HERAAN PARESHAN (DAZED & CONFUSED) which is a unique cool name & @9:52 You'll see QUAID-E-AZAM MEMORAL HUT where Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Founder of Pakistan) & his sister Miss. Fatima Jinnah (Madar-e-Millat = Mother of The Nation) stayed on July 25 / 1944 when they were returning from Srinagar on their way to Rawalpindi.
Muzaffarabad is the federal capital of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) & it's a small but busy city, it's 68.3 km from Murree & takes about 2 hrs 8 mins in car.
Muzaffarabad is situated in Neelum valley surrounded by tall mountains with Neelum river passing straight through. Upon entering Muzaffarabad you have to cross a long bridge over the Neelum river. It took us a little over 2 hrs to reach Muzaffarabad from Murree. The roads are new & good but the driving is very dangerous since on one side there is a mountain & on the other side there is a deep ditch. The place was scenic & the day was hot. We went to the bus station & took a minibus (Coaster) from Muzaffarabad to Keran which you will get to see in the next vlog.
