April 28th, after eight days in the nest four cardinal babies fledge. Mama comes to feed the babies.
These babies have a ways to go before adulthood. They will be fully grown in a few days at a height of 7 to 9 inches.
Northern Cardinals are protected birds under the Migratory Bird Act. That means it is illegal to have as a pet.
Male Cardinals can sing up to 200 songs a hour.
God granted me the equipment and perfect spot to capture these little miracles.
