Reefs.com Conservation series : Saving Atlantic Corals.

Описание: This year, through couple of interviews and me personally mentioning it on videos that it will be year that I will strongly focus on aquaculture, conservation, sustainable efforts and education. Why is that important? We as hobbyists have to know what is going on in our world and what efforts are being made to preserve what we have left and what we are doing to reverse the damages that we have done to our reefs. With all the outlets busy reporting all the negative things about the oceans and about our hobby, I wanted to focus on all the good things that is happening that are not being seen by the majority of the hobby.

To stay true to my vision, I made connect with my friend Keri O'Neil of Florida Aquarium. I have known Keri since 2012 when she was a student running the coral nursery for Guy Harvey Oceanic Center in Nova Southeastern University in South Florida. I contacted her to check out major efforts that Florida Aquarium team along with various institutions are making to restore Atlantic corals. With majority of Florida corals now being in the critically endangered species, it is imperative for this program to be known, supported and to succeed so that other oceans can follow it's footsteps.

This video was possibly one of my most challenging yet rewarding video that I have done in my 6 years of video making for this hobby.
Easily took more than 3 times more than my usual edits and thought process.
