This song comes from the path I walked with my twin flame (my wife) and the awakening that followed when the mirror I needed didn’t come the way I hoped it would. Some lessons don’t arrive through comfort or resolution. They arrive through breaking, stripping away illusions, and forcing you to finally see yourself without defenses.

There were three songs that carried me through this season. The first was the heartfelt song, where the pain spoke before understanding could.
The second was the song where I reached a place of peace and said, “I’m happy to be alone, on my own.” That one completed something inside me I still can’t fully explain. This song is the third. This is the one that finished the work.

“BREAK THE MAN” isn’t about blame. It’s about truth. It’s about love that doesn’t coddle, love that confronts, love that burns away what can’t survive. Sometimes love doesn’t save you, it reveals you and sometimes what feels like destruction is actually the beginning of clarity.

This song was written about when I was learning how to stay grounded, stay hopeful, and take one step at a time, choosing gratitude even when life felt uncertain. I wasn’t standing on solid ground yet, but I was standing in honesty. And that mattered.

Today, I stand in gratitude for every ounce of this journey, the love, the loss, the reflection, the rebuilding. Even the moments that felt like I was being broken were shaping me into someone more real, more present, and more awake.
