Dr Fraser Hunter, Principal Curator of Prehistoric & Roman Archaeology at National Museums Scotland and long-time friend and champion of Elgin Museum, talks about his favourite object on display in the Museum – the “Birnie Budgie” (NMS Find no.1201 ex10).
