В Киеве стартовала неделя моды

Описание: Сегодня стартовала украинская неделя моды. Несмотря на события в стране, её решили провести без задержек - согласно международному графику. Но в центре внимания - экспозиция, посвященная событиям на Майдане. Её уже видела Оксана Муляр.

The first thing visitors of the Ukrainian Fashion Week see is the exhibition, dedicated to the events on Maydan. These are the painted construction helmets, T-shirts and sweatshirts with the words "Stop Putin," "Glory to Heroes", "Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished". All these things have been created by Ukrainian designers during the confrontations in the capital.

I have drawn this at the end of February immediately after the terrible events, because you sit at home, well, very scared and worried. I wanted to express my gratitude to those people who were on Maydan.

Liliya Poustovit traditionally opened the Ukrainian Fashion Week. First minutes the models in long exquisite dresses have walked down the runway without music. At the shows -- minimum of guest, or the journalists only. This season will not host any traditional glamorous parties. In this way designers decided to show that Ukrainian Fashion Week for them is not a social event and celebration, but a place to work.
