👉In a major ruling, the Supreme Court of India clarified that OBC creamy layer status cannot be decided solely on the basis of parental income.

📍The Court said that social status, service category of parents, and other factors must also be considered while determining whether a person falls under the creamy layer in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) reservation category.
