Ingredients
For Sugar syrup

Sugar-1cup

Water - 2 cup

Cardamom-4

Curd - ½cup

Turmeric powder - ½ tsp

Salt - 4 pinch

Black cumin/ sesame seeds - 2 tsp

All purpose flour - 2 cup

Oil for frying

METHOD

1: Prepare sugar syrup (add 3/4 cup of sugar,cardamom and add 1 cup of water,then boil until sugar completely dissolved in to the water.Switch off the flame and allow to cool.) 2: In a large mixing bowl add 3/4 cup of maida, salt,turmeric powder,sesame seeds and cumin seeds, mix well.

3: Pour sugar syrup in to the dry ingredient and make batter.make sure that batter is in flowing consistency.

4: Heat oil in a pan and pour batter,fry both side until

colour changes into light golden. now our sweet snack MAALPURI is ready to serve...
