Vice President JD Vance flies into the UK, travels by motorcade

Описание: Vice President JD Vance arrives at London Stansted aboard Air Force 2. A heavy security operation is in place as the Vice President, and his family, travel in a motorcade of armoured vehicles.

Today, Air Force Two was one of two identical Boeing C-32s operated by the US Air Force's Special Air Mission (SAM), the 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Aircraft only take this callsign when the Vice President of the Unites States is on board.

The motorcade consisted of two armored Presidential SUVs used by the Vice President, along with several Chevrolet Suburbans and a Ford F550 of the Hazardous Agent Mitigation Medical Emergency Response (HAMMER) team of the United States Secret Service (USSS). These were airlifted into the UK a few days prior.

US Vice President J.D. Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance and their family are expected to visit areas around London, holiday in The Cotswolds (The 'Hamptons' of the UK) and then travel up to Scotland where US President Donald Trump recently visited.
