Farmworker Housing - Eden Housing's 55th Anniversary

Описание: As part of our 55-year celebration, we have launched a video series highlighting our many partners and individuals who have helped shape our organization and inspire us every day. Today, we are proud to showcase our farmworkers, who are the backbone of our food system. California’s growers produce over a third of the nation’s fruits, nuts and vegetables, often under very arduous conditions.

The video features Tabasa Gardens, an Eden Housing property that we are eager to open later this year. The property is named after Rosa Tabasa, who is well-known for her contributions to the Filipino growers’ community in Watsonville. The new apartment community will serve residents earning between 25 to 50% of the area’s median income, which is equivalent to an annual income of $28,000 to $56,000 for a two-person household.
