In this video I repair, mod and give a much needed clean to a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K +2(B).
Repairs
1, some of the keys on the keyboard don't work. Some idiots been tapering with the Keyboard membrane so I have to fix the damage an idiot has done to it.
2, the system is not loading anything from tape. I give the tape mechanism a good overdue service.
Mods
1, I correct the incorrect blanking signal coming from the RGB PERITEL Port of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K +2(B) to be SCART compliant.
2, I create an audio input just like the +3 version of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K so I can load games from an external audio source.
Cleaning
I give the system a good clean. it looks and smells like it's been stored away in a fusty old loft so I totally strip down the system and keyboard and give it a good clean.
