Описание: Vienna U-Bahn Lines U4 (Hellingenstadt-Hütteldorf) and U6 (Florisdorf-Siebenhirten) have a cross-platform transfer at Längenfeldgasse Station. This station's platform facilities transfers to trains of different sizes, much like London Underground's Mile End Station (on the Central, District, and Hammersmith & City Lines) or MTA New York City Transit's Queensboro Plaza (on the N, W, and 7 Lines). This transfer point is one of many unique transfer points in that transfers came be easily made between eastbound U4s and southbound U6s across the platform (as well as northbound U6s and westbound U4s), for service to the city center. This differs slightly from other unique cross-platform transfers, such as Montreal's Lionel-Groulx Station (eastbound trains on the same platform but operating in different directions) and MTA New York City Transit's 7th Avenue-53rd Street Station (southbound trains on the same platform but operating in different directions to two parallel corridors), where trains going the same cardinal direction are traveling in opposite directions on the same platform. MTA New York City Transit's Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets Station is a flat cross-transfer station similar to Längerfeldgasse, but at Hoyt-Schermerhorn southbound A and C trains have cross-platform transfer to northbound G trains, but trains operate in the same direction.
