As off 12/18/2025 Mario the Music Box's creator CorpseSyndrome also known as Mariosfriend9, real name Jessica Cruz-Guzman was arrested for committing arson which led herself and two others being hospitalized where one of her victims ended up passing away. While some people have already chosen to private their MTMB videos to permanently cut ties, I will keep all my videos up as I don't believe taking them down will change anything nor should what happened retroactively ruin our past enjoyment. But I will copy and paste this message into all their descriptions so that everyone new who sees it for the first time will know. While I personally believe that it's ok to separate art from artist, I understand if others don't in this case.

If you're on the fence about playing the games yourself for the first time, reminder that Jess never made any money from the games themselves and she wasn't the only person who worked on them. Take that as you will

Team Ari themselves are unsure how they're gonna precede and unsure if they want to even continue MTMB. They'll have to redo all the artwork and change the story. I'll continue to cover it if that's the path they take but I wouldn't hold my breath. If you subscribed to me only for MTMB then you should probably unsubscribe. Sorry I couldn't entertain you any other way.
