SPC Power Corporation (Company & Stock Review)

Описание: I thought SPC won't give out dividends this year due to the pandemic and I was surprised to see that they've already announced an ex-date on May 19 and payment on May 29. SPC is also my top performing stock, so far, with regards to price appreciation, at around 25% unrealized gain. If you want to receive dividend payments from this stock, make sure you already own it 1 trading day before the ex-date.

Incorporation date: March 11, 1994
Corporate Profile: SPC Power was organized in 1994 under the name Salcon Power Corporation after a consortium formed and led by Salcon Philippines, Inc. was awarded the contract for the rehabilitation, operation, maintenance, and management of the 203.8 MW Naga Power Plant in Cebu. The company listed its shares in the Philippine Stock Exchange in 2002. In 2007, the company was renamed to its present form due to the entry of a new group of foreign and local investors. The company's articles of incorporation were further amended in 2016 in order to engage in the business of selling, brokering, marketing, or aggregating electricity to end users.
