I really wanted to combine this look with the familiar blue and white floral ceramic designs you can find on dinnerware all over the world. I made this relaxing tutorial to show you how I achieved this kintsugi design - blue and white ceramic delicately pieced together with gold.
Kintsugi is a Japanese art form where broken pottery or ceramics are repaired using lacquer mixed with powdered precious metals, often gold. The repair is intended to be visible and beautiful, showing that the history of a piece is as important as the way it was originally made.
