Nasturtiums (Tropaeolum) are one of the most beneficial flowering plants for your vegetable garden... they're often used as "trap crops" or "decoy plants" to lure aphids and nuisance bugs away from brassicas, squash, tomatoes, and cucumbers! They also attract beneficial insects as well as bees and butterflies to your garden! These beautiful nasturtiums are from my cousin’s backyard garden, and I absolutely love them!
