(25 Apr 2016) Maelbeek station in the heart of the Belgian capital re-opened on Monday after it was closed following the extremist attacks on Brussels last month
The station was shut for more than a month after the twin attacks on Brussels on 22 March which killed 16 people and wounded many more.
Officials said the bombing did not cause any structural damage to the station, but it created aesthetic destruction to the ticketing area between the street and subway levels.
A tribute wall has also been erected at the station where people have written herart felt sentiments for the bombing victims.
