Adelaide remand Centre escapee Jason Burdon is back in custody after almost two days on the run. Police tracked the 33-year-old from the air and then on road before he was caught south of Adelaide.

Later in court, Burdon's lawyer said his client would contest a charge of resisting arrest after he required medical treatment for a gashed head as well as a broken rib.
