“𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴: 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴.” Romans 5:8
This past Sunday, as we dedicated our new building to the Lord, we were reminded that the foundation of the Church is not bricks or walls, but the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We may be tempted to believe we are unworthy, too broken, or too far gone, yet the gospel declares the opposite. None of us deserves God’s grace, and yet none of us is ever beyond it. Jesus took upon Himself the penalty we could not bear, died in our place, and rose victorious over sin and death.
This building is dedicated not to our achievement, but to God’s mercy. May it be a place where grace is proclaimed, hope is restored, and lives are transformed by the power of the cross.
