"Maleficium Codex" is a conceptual album centered around forbidden occult sciences practiced in ancient underground laboratories and crypts. The album follows the narrative of a necromancer-scholar studying death as a manipulable force. Each track represents a different stage of research into corpse manipulation, forbidden resurrection, alchemical decay and arcane experimentation. The entire work feels like chapters of a forbidden grimoire documenting grotesque discoveries and rituals.

MUSICAL STYLE
Old school Finnish death metal with raw analog atmosphere. The songs vary between crushing mid-tempo passages and faster aggressive sections while maintaining the primitive and dark spirit characteristic of early Finnish death metal.

PRODUCTION STYLE
Raw analog production inspired by early 1990s death metal recordings, aiming to capture the dark and organic atmosphere typical of underground death metal releases of that era.
