For part 23 of the walkthrough you find yourself in Lamure trying to prove yourself once again in the Proof of Strength quest. To start with you need to find the spot where mushrooms grow and that will lead you to the monster you have to battle. It turns out to be a Plesioth, the first water monster you encounter in MHS2. It isn’t terribly difficult to beat, especially if you take advantage of its fire weakness, but you can follow along with the walkthrough to see how to get the job done for the Proof of Strength quest and after getting to the spot where mushrooms grow.
