After long break I fired up the Hornet to practice some traps.
Damn - it's hard. My pattern was a bit loose or maybe I took too much time unfouling the deck, because my wingman was waved-off because of me.
Lets break down the LSO grade:
C - Cut, Unsafe, gross deviations inside waveoff window
DRX - drifted right at the start
FX - fast at the start
LOIC - low in close
3PTSIW - Landed 3 point in the wires (I'm pretty sure my main gear hit the deck first)
WIRE#2
EGIW - eased gun in wires (pulled throttles back to help set the hook for arrestment - wont argue here)
