Super excited to have filmed my 200th flight in a glider. Gliding for me has been a journey which started in 2010 when I was 12 years old... First with the Crusaders Gliding Club as my first contact with the aviation sport and my first touch at the flight controls, and now with the Cyprus Gliding Group.
Flew solo for the first time at the legal age of 16 which opened up an entire new world of opportunities in powerless flight - a truly amazing feeling. Airline pilots often visit the club for a gliding flight and admit the feeling is like no other! The absence of an engine is more of a "liberation" rather than a "limitation"!
