Yamaha MT10 SP first ride after mod's

Описание: Lowered my 2024 MT10 SP with a Soupy's Performance link and adjustable kickstand.

I was tired of tip toeing and stressing about every stop. The links are adjustable and the adjustable kickstand is a must after lowering.

High quality parts and after a couple hundred miles now all the worries of lowering the bike are gone.
It rides fantastic.... and I can flat foot one foot and at least 1/2 foot on the other. So much better and a more worry free ride now. Honestly I can not even tell any difference in the suspension performance.... none.
Feels/rides/handles same as original. The SP version has the semi-active Ohlins suspension and I was worried I might hurt/change its performance. I only took out one turn on forks spring pre-load to help match the rear. I thought these adjustments/mods would be a good place to start and adjust from there on. But honestly I think it rides and handles so good with this starting point that I will need to notice something happening before I make any more changes.

While doing the suspension links mod.... you must remove the gigantic catalytic converter to gain access to the suspension. Actually have to remove a good bit more to have clearance to pull out the links long bolts. But no worries really... it is all straight forward and easy to see what is involved to get it done.
After I had the links on , I decided to go ahead with the cat-delete and exup delete as well. Bought a SkutrNet servo-buddy and went with the Leo Vince link pipe. Absolutely a perfect fit replacement and the servo buddy is just plug and play. Sounds great with the stock muffler and no trouble codes or check engine light bs.
Just to finish my rambling on these mods. I kept a close eye on the engine temp and really it only ever got to 205 one time in some slow stop and go traffic... most of the time it ran 175-195 range. I was concerned about a lean fuel condition but also another worry laid to rest. ECU flash in the future but I am not seeing any signs of lean conditions at this point.

Over all... just very pleased with these parts and making the bike fit me better.
My only regret was not doing these mods sooner 🤙🏁
