BIKEPACKING ON FIFE COASTAL PATH - "Dash to the coast"

Описание: This weekend, we fancied a quick escape for an overnight bikepacking trip. We are about 45km from the most easterly point of Fife's coast and on a previous trip, we remembered there being some nice caves etc.

We have recently been watching videos on youtube of round the world Unicyclist Ed Pratt, (Link Below) as he bikepacked around the globe. He slept wherever he could find at the end of each day, resulting in him staying in some amazing places. It has inspired us to make the most of the opportunities we have and although a little limited in travel at the moment we have a beautiful landscape on our doorstep so we should make the most of it.

We headed from the front door down to Fife Ness and followed the Fife Coastal path North to a random beach in the middle of nowhere! It was below the high tidemark though so we had to set an early alarm clock!

Day two saw us ride/push north along the Coastal Path to St Andrews where we grabbed some hot food for breakfast and turned back west heading cross country back to base.
