বাগযুদ্ধের মধ্যে নির্বাচন কমিশনের বিরুদ্ধে গুরুতর অভিযোগ তুলেছেন মির্জা আব্বাস ও নাসিরউদ্দিন পাটওয়ারী। বিশেষ কোনো দলকে জেতানোর জন্য ভোটের ফল ঘোষণায় বিলম্বের আভাস দেওয়া হচ্ছে, বলছেন বিএনপির প্রার্থী। ভোটগ্রহণের ১২ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে ফল ঘোষণার দাবি তার। আর এনসিপি প্রার্থীর অভিযোগ, একটি বিশেষ দলের অনুসারীদের প্রিজাইডিং অফিসার হিসেবে নিয়োগ দিচ্ছে ইসি।

The BNP candidate says that the delay in announcing the results is being hinted at to favor a particular party. He demands that the results be announced within 12 hours of the voting. And the NCP candidate alleges that the EC is appointing followers of a particular party as presiding officers.
