Women Entrepreneurship Development Program
Considering the positive outcome of the pilot project, FICCI Yflo and ICECD further collaborated to develop 385 more women in the Bhaat Village in Ahmedabad. It’s objective was to make women of Rural India Self-Reliant and become successful by starting their own business. With this program we have trained 150 women out of which 60% of them are earning anywhere between 20,000-30,000 Rs. These women now can support their families financially and give their children a good education. ICECD is a specialized non-governmental organization, involved primarily in developing men and women from all strata of the society through entrepreneurship, both in India and in the developing countries. ICECD has been recognized as a “Centre of Excellence” by UN-ESCAP, 1997, UN Office at Bangkok, Thailand.
