Here the 12" single version "Mean Green Mother From Outerspace," sung by Levi Stubbs of the Four Tops and the "Little Shop Of Horrors Chorus, from the 1986 film Little Shop of Horrors, with lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken. Remixed for radio and promotional purposes, obscenities had to be edited out and have been replaced with various sound effects.
Released by Geffen Records, the single (as well as the entire soundtrack) was produced by Bob Gaudio.
The transfer comes from a copy of the single (PRO-A-2666) in the possession of The Little Shop Archive.
