37667 & 47828 at Bamfurlong - 08th October 2020

Описание: British Railways Green "Tractor" 37667 (D6851) heads south through Bamfurlong on Thursday 08th October 2020. The Class 37 was returning to Crewe with Intercity liveried "Duff" 47825 in tow having picked up the Class 47 at Carnforth. The forty-seven had been on hire from the D05 Preservation Group to West Coast but now seems to be joining the LSL fleet at Crewe (Currently not sure of on loan or purchased).

While 47828 looks fantastic in the Intercity Swallow livery, it hadn't really done much with West Coast but hopefully with LSL it will get a lot of action and will certainly look the part with the other matching liveried locos and stock in the ever growing LSL fleet.

One little grumble (there's always one) is that they missed a trick and sent out the green tractor instead of 47712 which would have given us an amazing pairing with almost matching liveries... Oh and as usual it was possible to hear this thrashing away in the distance until he shuts off a few seconds before coming into view, then again its a 37 pulling a dead 47 so it was never really going to break a sweat ;)
