On February 6th, 2026, a TASer named 'Fire Cape Mario' discovered a way to clip through the floor in the miniboss Chop Register's room of the Magna Centipede stage. While it was known for years that the fight lay below the floor, the only way to get there early was to hack your position through the floor. Fire Cape Mario's discovery of the Crystal Storage Glitch has enabled speedrunners to perform many new glitches and tricks, which now allows the possibility of fighting Sigma almost immediately, beating the game in under 10 minutes. This TAS showcases the absolute potential of execution in this new category.
