A major way of building relationships is finding good things about the other person and complimenting them for it. In Japan, people don't compliment each other very often - probably because of the humbleness of the culture. Perhaps some people think it would embarrass the other person if they compliment them? In this lesson, I teach some simple English phrases to get used to giving compliments!
