Sega of America was sued by Nike for the creation and airing of this NBA 2K2 advert, citing its striking resemblance to their own "Frozen Moment" commercial featuring Michael Jordan from 1996. The two companies settled early in 2002, with Sega agreeing to stop airing the spot while also donating $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland, Oregon and Memphis, Tennessee.
