Описание: his is Episode 2 of Wrong Way Up, where the Triton build starts properly — painting the tub, toughening up the look, and realising nothing ever bolts straight on.

What should’ve been a simple roller cover install turns into reinforcing the tub and rethinking the plan… again.

In this episode, I spray a fresh black bed liner to clean up years of weekend-at-a-time mods. While I’m at it, the rear bumper gets painted to give the car a tougher, more cohesive look.

The plan was simple: install the roller cover so I can mount the rooftop tent over the tub. The reality? The tub wasn’t ready for it — which meant reinforcing mounts, modifying the setup, and pushing through a frustrating but necessary fix.

By the end of the episode, I start preparing for the next stage of the build, including mounting a second battery behind the rear seats so the foundation for accessories and electrics is in place ready for further installs (Check out Episode 3)

This series isn’t about perfect builds or unlimited budgets. It’s about fixing mistakes properly and building a touring setup that actually works in the real world.
