The Pakistan Army and China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) are conducting the joint counterterrorism exercise Warrior-IX from 28 November to 14 December 2025. A Distinguished Visitors Day ceremony was held at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), Pabbi, on 11 December 2025, attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Jiang Zaidong, senior Chinese dignitaries, and the Chief of General Staff Pakistan Army.

During the event, guests were briefed on the objectives and scope of the exercise and witnessed a series of counterterrorism drills. The participating troops demonstrated exceptional professionalism, operational capability, and high morale. The exercise highlights deep defence cooperation between Pakistan and China and underscores their shared commitment to regional peace and stability.
