The Ark Encounter is a life size replica of Noah's Ark, built to size per the Bible measurements converted into modern measurements. It took about $100 million, 1000 mostly Amish craftsman 18 months to build. The Ark is the worlds largest timber frame structure and was built out of as much reclaimed timber as possible. Some of the timber was brought in from as far as Utah, Colorado and Washington.

You do not have to agree with everything you see there, as I didn't. But the displays are very well done and the construction of the building is impressive in it's self.
The buffet also has very good food, the fried chicken is super good, at least when I was there....
It's worth the trip to see, no matter what your belief or faith is...
