The Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has announced that security will be his top priority for 2026, with significant investments in logistics, infrastructure, and manpower.
He made the statement while presenting the N890.3 billion 2026 budget, titled “Sustained Recovery and Growth,” on the floor of the State House of Assembly in Maiduguri.
The budget is strategically structured around key pillars: security, human capital development, infrastructure, and social and economic revitalization.
