Google is showing AI overviews more often. That’s great when the summary is accurate, and risky when it isn’t.
In this video I share a quick case study: I searched “who is Guus Goorts” and Google generated a full AI overview that described my work correctly. I didn’t set out to “game” it, but a few practical things clearly helped. Most of them are replicable for education brands too.
If you’re responsible for marketing a school, university, faculty, programme, or course, the game is changing. People still search, but they increasingly expect answers without clicking. So visibility is no longer only about traffic - it’s also about being mentioned and represented correctly in AI-generated results.
