Testing an Air Raid Siren With the Mojave Megaphone

My friend Larry and I visited the mysterious Mojave Megaphone last month, and ended up with more questions than answers. What WAS this thing built for? Someone has covered one side of it with an animal hide, making it into a sort of drum...but there are many theories as to what its intended purpose is.
The most logical of these theories is that it was meant to be some sort of amplification device for some kind of alarm or siren, maybe for the benefit of a railroad that used to pass nearby...so I borrowed a hand-cranked air raid siren from my friend Sammy, and gathered up more friends to go back and help Larry and me test it out. What do you think? Did it work?? Watch and find out...
