It's irritating... You see and hear so many singers who just seem to "have it". They open their mouths and they seem to be magically musical, even with their speaking!
Being exposed to natural talent when you yourself have a desire to sing but don't seem to have natural ability is frustrating and deflating. I totally get it. I am also not a naturally good singer.
I was boring. I was static and discouraged because of it. I would listen to great singers and had no clue where to start to even begin to sound a fraction as good as them. But then things changed. They changed when I first learned how to listen to other singers and second, when I began to 'animate' my speaking voice'.
Don't let "what they all say" or pessimism about your voice keep you from doing what you want to do! In this video, we look at other real life skills to illustrate the LIE that some people are eternally cursed with a horrible voice. :) Your solutions are towards the end of the video!
