“Making the Case” continues its weekly series highlighting the stories of those who’ve been wrongfully convicted.
Darryl Burton was 22 years old when he was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
He spent 24 long years in the Missouri State Penitentiary, a place he called, “hell on earth,” before being exonerated in 2008.
Burton enrolled in seminary school and eventually became the pastor at one of the largest Methodist churches in the world.
He joins guest host Laverne McGee on “Making the Case” to discuss his story from incarceration to pastor.
All this and more on “Making the Case.”
