Restoring an old château in France is never just one job… it’s always five at once.
In this video, I’m attempting to clean the dirtiest room in the castle, trying to revive an old stone floor in the salle à manger, then moving outside to tackle exterior stairs and parts of the pool area with my trusted high-pressure washer.
Somewhere in between, I’m hunting for the right tools, questioning my life choices, and discovering spiders where absolutely no spiders should be…
This is a very real château cleaning and renovation day. No perfect plan, no perfect tools, just figuring it out as I go while living in a historic French castle that constantly reminds you who’s in charge. Competing for that honor with my 6- and 3-year-old daughters.
