The 272 is a member of Inovonics´ NOVIA family of Audio processors for FM Stereo, AM, and “Utility” Stereo processing. Each one of the NOVIA processors includes a DSP-based 3-band processor, Intuitive menu-driven set-up, with an IP interface for 2-way program streaming, remote Web Access and control from any Web enabled device.

On the front of the NOVIA 272 we’ve got a headphone jack, LED Bar Meters to indicate Audio Levels, a large OLED display and jog wheel with intuitive menus for easy set-up, advanced control and editing over all processing parameters.

Designed for easy installation and use, the NOVIA 272 incorporates an intuitive menu-driven setup. The process is streamlined by using the Ten factory presets for audio processing and Ten user-defined presets.

There´s a built-in Stereo Generator and dynamic RDS Encoder which is compatible with all standard automation systems.
The NOVIA 272 accepts both program line and streaming inputs. One practicle application for this could be using the 272 for the station STL to the transmitter - by receiving the audio program stream directly from IP Encoders on SHOUTcast & ICEcast.
On the back of the 272 we’ve got balanced left & right analog inputs, and AES Digital Inputs. There’s a composite MPX output for the transmitter, and a Network port for total remote control via the web.

An intuitive web interface enables remote set-up and control of the 272. From here you can set-up Audio Presets, program an RDS message, and even listen remotely. There´s also an onboard real-time clock that allows you to program “Dayparting” to automatically adjust your audio presets according to the programing day. IP connectivity also provides local and email failure alarms, plus support for SNMP operation.

The compact 1/2-rack sized 272 can be easily integrated with many Inovonics’ INOmini products – including Confidence Monitors for AM/FM/HD-Radio and other problem solvers for broadcasters.

Two units can be combined and mounted in the optional 1U 19” Rack Shelf for a clean professional installation.

The 272 is compatible with worldwide radio broadcast standards. It comes with a universal power supply supporting 115 or 230 volts.
