A talk showing how the band JAPAN changed the look of their hair styles from the early David Bowie Ziggy Stardust influenced look, to the long hair of the late 70s; new wave and New Romantic pioneers, to the sophisticated style that influenced everyone from Duran Duran and Princess Diana to Jason Donovan, selling millions of packets of sun-in along the way. Fans emulated their style then, and they still do now.

JAPAN were a band active in the late 70s and early 80s whose members were David Sylvian, Steve Jansen, Richard Barbieri, Mick Karn and Rob Dean.
