Taiwan Responds to China Threat

Taiwan’s air force is holding its annual Tien Lung drills. Air Force F-16s, Mirage-2000s, and Indigenous Defense Fighters are being put to the test in Jiadong, Pingtung County. These latest drills coincide with increased military presence in the region. The Chinese military on Sunday has condemned the U.S and Canada for each sending a warship through the Taiwan Strait last week. The heightened tensions have raised questions about how Taiwan should respond should there be a direct security threat to the island.
