Hello and welcome to my latest video.
On Wednesday 23rd March, I went to East Croydon Station for few hours of filming.
Nothing much to say really, expect that's a very busy station.
Very modern, tidy and well looked after.
Lots of trains services comes in like every 2 or 3 minutes.
Most train services you will see is Electrostar units 377, 387, and Desiro City Thameslink 700. Also you will see some Southern Turbos Units 170, & Southern Class 455 that are soon to be withdrawn, sometime in mid May I do believe, when new timetable starts. And little few freights.
Views are not bad, shame there's a little fence in the way at end of platform which would of made view a lot better without it. And the other view towards Gatwick can be a bit difficult if you are on Platform 2 and 1 as it's right underneath the footbridge & Booking Hall, but viewing on Platform 3 is a bit better.
