This is the first part in deconstructing the guitar solo of the album version for the Eagles Hotel California. Despite having already a bucketload of tutorials on Youtube I think there is a few misconceptions to address, especially concerning the album version. Even Felder and Walsh have changed the solos quite a bit during years of live playing, but the recorded version remains a masterpiece full of nuances.
