It’s not cheap caring for a sick ferret, but I’d do it again! Ferrets are amazing animals and they make wonder pets. They can be a bit high maintenance and they require a lot of time, attention, care and money, but they are 100% worth it in my book.
My ferret Weasel got sick unexpectedly last Friday and I didn’t want to waste anytime getting him to the vet, especially knowing how fast a ferrets health can decline He spent the weekend in the pet ER and was diagnosed with an overgrowth of Helicobacter Mustelae. He is back home and on medicine, but it was definitely a scary experience.
