Storms that even may have been derechos (not official) moved through Brisbane on the night of Friday the 14th of November, 2025. They bought damaging wind gusts, flash flooding, lightning every second, a shelf cloud, and some hail in places - these storms did damage to the Brisbane area and were warned as being severe from BOM.
