Zoe is facing jail time following the fundraising scandal. In order to appear remorseful, she works lunch duty at the school, but serving those who blame her for the strict new rules proves to be discouraging. Determined to make people like her, Zoë hatches a risky plan. Frankie has a lot on her plate, and her grades are starting to slip. Desperate to keep up her average and avoid the scorn of her parents, she cheats off of another student’s test. Soon enough, both parties face getting a zero unless the truth comes out. Unfortunately for Frankie, there’s more at risk than just a good grade. Imogen thought she was okay with Jack not being out to her parents, but she failed to realize the number of ways it could affect their relationship. Can Imogen “play straight” when she needs to, or is that too much for Jack to ask of her?
